The "Classes" screen is the fourth tab at the bottom of the app. Every change in it is saved immediately ("Every change is saved immediately"), and there is no general save button.

A class is a group you build as needed: a fixed day and time, a study group, or any other division. Each student belongs to one class, or to "No class (private student)".

Adding a class

  1. At the top of the screen, in the "Add class" field, type the class name.
  2. Tap the "Add class" button.

The class appears as a card. If there are no classes yet, "No classes yet" is shown.

Renaming a class

On the class card tap the pencil icon (edit), type a new name in the "Class name" window and tap "Save".

Adding a student

  1. On the class card tap "Add student".
  2. Fill in the details. Only "Student name" is required. The rest: "Parent name", "Parent phone", "Parent email" and "Message language for the parent".
  3. Tap "Save".

About the parent's details:

  • The parent's phone and email are needed only to send payment reminders. The "WhatsApp" and SMS buttons on the "Collection" screen appear only for a student who has a parent phone, and the "Email" button only for a student who has a parent email.
  • You can write the phone as you are used to, for example 050-1234567. For WhatsApp the system converts it to the international format.
  • "Message language for the parent": choose a language for reminders to this parent. The default is "Same as my app language".

Editing a student's details

On the student card tap "Edit", change the details and tap "Save".

Moving a student to another class

On the student card open the "Move to class" list and choose a class, or "No class (private student)". The move is saved immediately, and the student's history does not change.

Archiving a student

  1. On the student card tap "Archive".
  2. In the "Archive this student?" window confirm. It says there that the lesson history is kept, but the student will no longer show up when registering lessons.

Good to know:

  • An archived student is not counted toward the active students limit of the free plan.
  • Open debts of an archived student stay on record and appear on the "Collection" screen (with the "Mark payment" button, without the message buttons), and their lessons are included in the Excel export. On the "History" screen only active students appear in the student list.
  • There is no button that brings a student back from the archive. If you need them again, add them again as a new student.
  • A student who was never registered in any lesson is deleted completely instead of being archived.

The student limit on the free plan

The free plan allows up to 5 active students. When you try to add another student, the "You have reached your plan limit" window opens with two options:

  • "Upgrade my plan": goes to the "My subscription" screen.
  • "Close": back to the form, and the details you filled in stay.

You can also make room by archiving a student. On the Basic and Professional plans there is no limit on the number of students.

Deleting a class

  1. On the class card tap the trash icon (Delete class).
  2. In the "Delete this class?" window tap "Delete class".

A class with students cannot be deleted. The message is: "A class with students cannot be deleted - move them out first". This is true for archived students as well: a class that looks empty but still cannot be deleted probably contains an archived student.

When the account is locked (read-only)

Adding, editing, moving, archiving and deleting are blocked, and the screen shows "Editing classes and students is blocked right now (the account is read-only)."
