Display name

• The "Display name" field is the name that appears in reminders to students and parents (in the {teacherName} tag). It is also the name a student in the portal will see if they tap "Reveal name" on your card.
• Change it and leave the field. An empty name is not saved.

Rates: private and group

• The fields "Rate for a private lesson (ILS)" and "Rate for a group lesson (ILS)". The defaults for a new account are 150 and 100.
• A lesson with one student is charged at the private rate. A lesson with two or more is charged at the group rate, per student.

Changing a rate: what happens to lessons already registered

1. Change the number and leave the field.
2. A "Rate change" window opens, saying for example "The private lesson rate changes from 150 to 170."
3. The system asks "Apply the new rate to lessons that have not been paid yet as well?" with two choices:
   • "No - unpaid lessons keep the old rate" (the default). What is owed for lessons already registered does not change.
   • "Yes - update unpaid lessons to the new rate". The open debt will be calculated at the new rate from now on.
4. Tap "Save rate". To cancel without changing: "Back without changing".
5. A message appears with the number of lessons that stayed at the old rate or were updated.

In any case: new lessons are registered at the new rate. Paid lessons, and lessons whose price was edited by hand, do not change.

Quick times

These are the times that appear as buttons on the "Register lesson" screen. The default: 16:15, 17:15 and 18:15.

• To add: "Add a time", type a time on a 24-hour clock with two digits for the hour (for example 09:30 or 16:15) and tap "Add".
• To remove: tap the time in the list (it has an X on it).

Language

• "Language" sets the language of the app: Hebrew, English, Russian or Arabic.
• It is also the default language for messages to parents. For a specific student you can set another language: "Classes" > "Edit" > "Message language for the parent".

Message templates for parents

"WhatsApp message template", "SMS message template" and "Email template" are the wording of the payment reminder in each channel.

• Edit the text in the box and leave it, and the change is saved.
• The tags you can combine: parent name, student name, teacher name, list of lessons and amount due ({parentName} {studentName} {teacherName} {lessonsList} {totalDebt}). No need to type or copy them: above each box there is an "Insert a tag" row, and tapping a tag puts it where the cursor is. Under the box a preview with sample values shows "Hello Dana Cohen", not the code.
• "Restore default" brings back the original wording of the system.
• A custom template is sent only to parents who get messages in your app language. Parents in another language get the system's translated template.

Theme

"Theme": "Light", "Dark" or "Match device".

Signing out

The "Sign out" button at the bottom of the screen. Confirm in the "Sign out?" window and you go to the sign-in screen.

What is not in Settings

• The public profile is on a separate screen: "More" > "Public profile".
• Plan, credit card, invoices and cancelling the subscription are in "More" > "My subscription".
• There is currently no password change or email change in the Settings screen. A password reset is done from the sign-in screen, and deleting the account is in "More". See the account and privacy chapter.
